Central Association A trade union, also called or federation or confederation of trade unions is a voluntary group of unions in a country of different activities, offices and businesses in order to form a national union strength and workers collectively represent a country and either to the government, employers as a group and in the international arena. There are countries where there is only one trade union and other countries, the majority, where there are more than a trade union, representing different currents usually union. A more representative trade union center in each country belongs nominate one of the four Members of the delegation of each member country of the International Labour Organization (ILO) (the rest is elected directly by the government, two, and the remaining must be nominated by employers). The trade unions are affiliated to trade unions federations in the world that characterize international trade unionism.The global union federations are the most important International Confederation of Free Trade Unions (ICFTU), World Confederation of Labour (WCL) and Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU).
